1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using MyTherapistFit, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
2. What MyTherapistFit is — and isn't
MyTherapistFit is an educational tool that helps you evaluate therapist fit. It is not therapy, not medical or mental health advice, not a diagnosis, and not a referral service. Reports are generated based on the information you provide and are intended to support — never replace — your own judgment and care from a licensed professional. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 (US Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or your local emergency number.
3. Accounts
You must be 18 or older to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
4. Payments
Paid reports are billed one-time through Stripe. Prices are listed in US dollars and may change with notice.
5. Refunds
Because reports are delivered as digital content, all sales are generally final. However, if you are unsatisfied with your report, email hello@mytherapistfit.com within 14 days and we'll review your request in good faith.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service: no scraping, reverse-engineering, attempting to break security, impersonating others, submitting unlawful content, or using AI outputs to harass any therapist or third party.
7. Intellectual property
All content, branding, and code on MyTherapistFit are owned by us or licensed to us. Your individual report is yours to keep and use personally.
8. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee any particular therapy outcome.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyTherapistFit, its founder, and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
