1. Who we are

MyTherapistFit ("we", "us", "our") is an educational platform founded by Shelley Davidescu, LMFT. We help prospective therapy clients evaluate therapist fit. We are not a healthcare provider, and using this site does not create a therapist–client relationship.

2. Information we collect

• Account information — email address and authentication identifiers when you sign in.
• Assessment & consultation notes — the answers and free-form notes you enter to receive a fit report.
• Payment information — processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
• Usage data — basic logs, device, and browser info to keep the service running and secure.

3. How we use it

We use your information to generate your fit report, send transactional emails, improve the product, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your data. We do not share your assessment notes with therapists.

4. AI processing

When you ask for tailored consultation questions, the reason you provide is sent to an AI model to generate a customized response. Inputs are not used to train third-party models and are not retained beyond what is needed to return your result.

5. Data storage & security

Data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit and at rest. Access is restricted to authorized personnel. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable, industry-standard measures to protect your information.

6. Your rights

You may request to access, correct, export, or delete your account and associated data at any time by emailing hello@mytherapistfit.com. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Children

MyTherapistFit is intended for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced on the site. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
